  • Entrepreneurial Finance

    The purpose of this course what entrepreneurial finance is about.  In doing so the course the importance of understanding and applying entrepreneurial finance methods and tools to help ensure an entrepreneurial venture is successful.  The course presents a life cycle approach to the teaching of entrepreneurial finance where Mr. Nathani covers venture operating and financial decisions faced by the entrepreneur as a venture progresses from an idea through to harvesting the venture. 

    Foundations of Finance

    This course lays a foundation of finance for any firm to follow. First, it focuses on the goal of the firm, followed by a review of the legal forms of business organization, and a discussion of the tax implications relating to financial decisions. Ten Principles that form the foundations of financial management then follow.

    Business Finance

    This course exposes students to decision making situations and provide the basic problem-solving skills needed by financial managers to make prudent decisions using real-world business cases.  We utilize the knowledge obtained from previous Business Finance courses to solve hypothetical and real-world topics. 

    The case method approach is used to provide a learning experience through the simulation of decision-making in a managerial finance setting.

    Use the collaborative, experiential and project-based learning approach to financial decision making nquiry into

    Inquiry into company fundamentals through analysis of financial and asset management, capital budgeting, capital structure and dividend policy, working capital and other quantitative metrics.

    Apply previous learnings as well as qualitative attributes to measure and manage company financials.

    Intermediate Financial Management - Theory and Practice

    This course focuses on application of financial management techniques to profit oriented organizations: measuring of needs for business funds, acquiring business funds, investing business funds, and elements of international finance. The students are expected to master both the theoretical aspects of financial management as well as develop the quantitative techniques used in the finance area.
